Calm Waters

Calm Waters seems to be the complimentary image to A Dangerous Port, which can be found here.

Anyway, both of the originals are over a 100 years in age and were hand-water colored with amazing details. To be forward to Calm Waters, either click on the title or CLICK HERE. Otherwise, there is also a GREAT DEAL on POSTERS on-line as well.

(Neither original image is still for sale.)

A Dangerous Port

This is a photograph of a vintage, hand water-colored, lithograph. I believe that it was completed circa 1850, possibly in 1857 by Henry Bill. I do know that he has water colored many of the images that were found in that book. However, I am not sure if this was one of them. Anyway, the detailing is beautiful and not may still exist. Because of this, I’m starting to photograph rare items, such as the one pictured here, and make them available to the generally public. To be immediately forwarded to the site, CLICK HERE or on the title of this blog. This image is also found on PRINTS and PRODUCTS.

Appalachian Thunderheads

This was taken on a lazy-summer day. As we were walking along the Delaware River, we looked back to see the most amazing storm coming over the mountains. This image can be found on PRINTS or PRODUCTS.
