Tossed Silver

This is an image of the feet found of a vintage sugar bowl and creamer. The objects were part of a coffee set that was used in upscale hotels and restaurants. The objects were carried on an elegantly details serving tray. They were really a nice set! CLICK HERE to see the other products.

Art of Rome

This is a photograph of a page found in an antique French encyclopedia; the above and below are two sides to the same sheet of paper. The illustration - as found in the encyclopedia - is well over 100 years in age and does have some browning (more on the edges of the paper) but the paper is still flexible. (If interested, the original image is for sale; just add a comment at the bottom of this blog.) To be forward to the attached image, either click on the title. Calm Waters

This is the companion image to A Dangerous Port, CLICK HERE. Calm Waters is the complimentary image that is also a photograph the hand water-colored, lithograph and possibly in 1857 by Henry Bill. At this point, I haven’t been able to find the attached name to either watercolor but will update the names once they are found.
